Mission and Core Values

MISSION:

To translate the Gospel of Jesus Christ into a language that teens can hear and understand.

VISION:

To identify, nurture, support and provide a platform for artists who:

a) see contemporary culture though the lens of God's Word,
b) are culturally relevant without being spiritually disconnected,
c) communicate a God-centered worldview in the language of contemporary culture so that the next generation can see, hear and know God.


	Core Values Micah Music Ministries' core values are based entirely on God's word, trusting completely in Him to lead our ministry. Specific passages that guide us are: Micah 6:8 He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. Mathew 11:28-30 (Jesus said:) "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls^.For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." James 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing. Proverbs 10:9 He who walks in integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out. 2 Corinthians 5:20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 1 Peter 3:15 Sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence. Psalm 126:3 The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. Psalm 115:1 Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.
